Current work

Currently (2016), I am finishing my PhD in Biochemistry at Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School. My work interests are method development for determination of protease cleavage sites, discovery of novel protease physiological substrates and implementation & development of bioinformatics tools for proteomics protease research. At Department of Biochemistry and Molecular biology I work at Proteomics lab, where my current work spans basic molecular biology, quantitative proteomics and bioinformatics.

Education

University graduate in Biochemistry, B. Sc., 2010 (Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Ljubljana, Slovenia). Title: Peptide map development for identity testing of therapeutic protein (co-mentor: dr. Igor Štern, mentor: prof. dr. Lucija Zupančič-Kralj. Experimental work was performed at Lek (Biopharmaceuticals Sandoz, Novartis).
