PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the Structural biology group. My main project is focused on a multi-protein complex, major histocompatibility complex class II molecules in complex with invariant chain (MHCII-Ii complex). By combining different techniques, we are trying to determine the 3D structure of the MHCII-Ii complex.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

• • • Production of recombinant proteins using different expression systems (bacterial, yeast, insect).
    • Protein isolation and purification using FPLC systems (affinity, size-exclusion, ion-exchange chromatography)
    • Protein separation and detection techniques
    • Molecular cloning (classical cloning using restriction and ligation, ligation independent cloning)
